Legend of the Eternal Dragons
Over a millennia one being's way of life has never been understood. That being is great and magnificent dragon. Mythological creatures show in a light you or I would ever dream to think of. Their smarter, wiser, stronger, and more clever. Truely dragons of the lost world. However, humanity will never truly know the real story of the rule of the dragons and how it all came to be, so that is why it shall be told now. So that all may know some of the hidden secrets to the realm of the etermal dragons...
Long ago, before the passing of many ages, two dragons ruled the realm over all magic. First King and Queen before the great breaking they one day had a clutch born to them. Beautiful were these eggs, their destiny wooven before them. Unfortunately, they had to be abandoned with the reason left unknown. Out of this clutch, four dragons returned to there former land, while the rest were never to be found. The four known, returned to take on there rightful place as leaders to the realm. There was balance for once. However, not all four could rule one throne so they split the land up into equal parts, four kingdoms. It wasn't long until the four began fighting amongst themselves. Kingdoms divided leaving everything in ruin. The elves broke away their territory, the dwarves guarded their undergrounds, and the humans founded their kingdoms. Underneath a secret is kept, one of darkest misfortune. However, there is word of a chosen one or maybe ones out there just waiting to save the kingdoms from utter destruction. A prophecy was given to those of the dragon, the elf, the dwarf, and yes even man. One that said when the star of draco magnus' eye would show it would mean that the eternal dragon, the chosen favorite of the gods would come to pass judgment on the inhabitants, follow by a group that would be as strong as a thunderstorm and as swift as a gale of wind. The realm would unfold into a state of change and a new age would pass, one that would make or break the lands as the magical folk would know it. In this state of unrest, the realms destiny would be decided. It was going to be up to the realm to figure out. To make a choice between what is right and what is easy. To fight with honor to defend ones only home, or join the uprising and help take over a realm that is buckling under certain pressure.
